Everyone in Tokyo is really busy. I really understand and appreciate when you can meet up with friends. Because it is typical and normal to be 30 mins away via train. But sometimes they could be an hour away, or more. Those are one way trips too! So when you factor going and returning, then you have the amount of time together. For me, that means a lot. In Hawaii, people are busy too.
